Sean O’Brien is a music producer, musician, engineer, and mixer based in Los Angeles.

After studying at the Clive Davis Institute in NYC, he moved back to his home state of California to open operations at his studio, The Notch, in Echo Park. His work in the local music scene led him to work with indie rock veterans The National, earning him a Grammy award for engineering in 2018. Sean’s equal love for both classic albums and contemporary production has led him to work with legends like Booker T Jones, new soulful-rockers X Ambassadors, and Matt Berninger of The National’s solo project.
